Research Opportunities
The CLP Lab offers selected opportunities for students and recent graduates to gain experience in psycholinguistic research and contribute to ongoing projects while developing research skills and greater independence. The activities available depend on the needs and stage of each project, as well as the prospective contributor's skills, interests and availability.
Current Scope and Eligibility
The CLP Lab is not actively recruiting for a specific position at present.
However, selective expressions of interest are welcome, primarily from current Thammasat University students and alumni. Students or graduates from elsewhere may also be considered when their Thai-language ability or relevant experience in L2 language processing aligns with a particular project.
Most Thai resource-development work requires a high level of Thai literacy, while opportunities in L2 research may be open to a wider range of applicants, depending on the project. Expressions of interest are reviewed in relation to current research priorities and practical needs. Where there appears to be a suitable match, I may reply by email to discuss the scope, expectations, and possible next steps. Submitting an expression of interest does not guarantee an available role or a response.

Join an Existing CLP Lab Project
Students and recent graduates may undertake structured activities within an established project, beginning with bounded tasks and clear guidance before progressing towards greater responsibility where appropriate. The expected commitment and period of involvement are agreed according to the project.
Develop a Focused Student Project
Students may propose a manageable project related to the lab's research areas. Where feasible, academic research supervision or mentoring may help refine the question, select appropriate methods and develop the work through clearly defined stages. Relevant ethical and institutional requirements must be addressed before research begins.
Essential Information
Current opportunities are voluntary and unpaid unless a specific opportunity explicitly states otherwise. Voluntary research involvement is not employment or a formal university internship. The CLP Lab is an academic research environment rather than a clinical service or professional clinical-training facility, and all relevant ethical and institutional requirements must be addressed before research begins.
